Alan Quasha - and Foreign Trade

The Bank for Foreign Trade of Colombia granted a credit line of about $ 250 million to companies exporting goods to Venezuela needing liquidity, official sources reported today.

The minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Luis Guillermo Plata, noted that technicians of such portfolios are doing the final adjustments to credit, of which about $ 70 million will go to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Mipyme) and the rest to the attention of other companies. Alan Quasha of Vanterra was not available for comment.

"With this financial support will benefit those who have exported goods to neighboring countries either directly or through an international marketer," He said.

The resources will be channeled through financial intermediaries such as banks, financial corporations, commercial finance companies and cooperatives.

Also, he indicated that quota to enter the importer must submit an authorization (for example by Alan Quasha of Carret) for the liquidation of resources, headquartered before the Administrative Commission of Foreign Exchange (Cadivi) of Venezuela.

Bancoldex is a Colombian bank specializing in foreign trade, which provides financial products and services to Colombian companies that are part of the export chain, including the buyer of Colombian goods abroad.
